Get to know Mrs. Yancey
Thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. I am from Lake City, FL where I attended Columbia High School. While at CHS I was involved with the band, more specifically the color guard or flag team. After High School I went to Lake City Community College (now Florida Gateway College) for my AA before transferring to Florida State University (GO NOLES!) to get my Bachelors in Secondary Mathematics Education. I graduated from FSU in 2011 and began my teaching career at Lake City Middle School where I have been until now. I am currently working on my Masters in Secondary Mathematics Education online from Georgia State University in Atlanta. I love football and am a HUGE Seminole fan and rarely miss attending a home game! I actually love attending all FSU sporting events and go to several basketball and baseball games a year. When I am not teaching I love to bake. I make all kinds of cakes and cupcakes for birthdays and weddings. This about sums me up (math humor). I look forward to getting to know each of you this year.
